Oxshott House

//

Combining a traditional house from 1998 with contemporary design is a significant challenge. A new kitchen extension with a dining room was added to the back of the house, creating a new area and the essential point of the house while ideally intertwining the new style with tradition. On the side, we extended the house added a place for a modern steam room as well as an extra utility room space. At this house, the principal details, such as the beautiful fireplace have been left and restored, creating the perfect balance between tradition and modern style. In the place, the minimal direction perfectly harmonises with new bespoke furniture such as ash live edge table and iconic designs like Wishbone chairs. A new fireplace integrated into the wall connecting the kitchen and cosy part and create a real focal point of the entire house. Rest of the house, including the bathrooms and bedrooms, were renovated with bespoke joinery and fully refurbished.

All new modern installations of plumbing, heating, electricity and AV / TV installations together with new works related to landscape shaping and garden works meant that the project was implemented in accordance with the great design standard.
